Architecture, Construction &
City Planning
From conception to planning, from design to construction are complex processes
involving many different facets of human endeavor and activity. The interaction
of existing structures and what is to be build is as much a technical matter
as esthetic, psychological, social and finally political. Visualization
of the various complex facets is difficult for the professional let alone
the layperson. Memco has attempted to identify and provide solutions by
creating essential tools that communicate and interchange with industry
standards such as various CAD, 3DS, ASE and DXF formats into its proprietary
platform.
City & Urban Planning
Cities have been in development for as long as human civilization has, they
represent an evolutionary reflection of our needs, possibilities, limitations,
thoughts, wants, abstractions and projections. In this venue city and urban
planning has gradually taken a more coherent form. The process of understanding
the historical premises has gradually given way to more modern and future
forms of human organization; from abundance (e.g. Urban Sprawl) to ecological
(e.g. Smart Growth) and urban conglomeration. As an extension to and grander
vision of MiaArchitecture®, in 2010, we started the development of MiaPolis®.
A tool that allows implementing concepts in raw form as well as offering
practical instruments based on standardized premises of urban and city planning.
MiaPolis offers fluidity and autonomy to be applied to various cultural,
economic and social settings.

These premises are interrelated and depending on influencing social, political
and economic trends their matrix changes as well. We attempt to capture
and develop the ability to visually demonstrate the changing of the matrix
in MiaPolis. Based on empirical and statistical data we can construct the
initial models. Once fully in place we can then run simulations by applying
various theoretical information and viewing the projections in full 3D.
Way of the Future
As consumer population grows across the globe, resources become
scarcer; solving ecological factors and coming up with alternative sources
of energy is a must. We are therefore challenged to think intelligently
and plan ahead. We hope that technologies such as Mia
would help in bringing about environmental sustainability, infrastructure
efficiency, preservation of history and projection of the future.
Manufacturing
An important aspect of product development is team collaboration; as such
clear and concise communication among the team ensures success. Mia
provides the solution for team members as well as clients to view and run
simulations and product testing across any network.
Memco has identified and provide solutions by developing essential tools
that communicate and interchange with industry standards such as various
CAD/CAM formats into its proprietary platform. Further, with built-in verification
and authoring tools, sensitive and confidential information is protected
both within and outside of the organization.
eHealth & Sciences
In early 2000, Memco Inc. and Consolidated Health embarked upon developing
forward thinking eHealth software; all the medical and health records of
individuals in the network would be stored in highly secure electronic vault
and be readily available to healthcare providers across the globe in case
of emergency or at the owner's request. This system was called HAMDS
(Health & Medical Data Services). In subsequent years HAMDS has matured
to a complete system yet staying true to its fundamental principles of privacy,
raising consciousness and care towards one's health and finally providing
the tools to take control of our health and medical records.
